Outnumbered 4 to 1: September 2008

So heres the thing. My little man Trace turned 5 today! I now have a 6 1/2 year old, a 5 year old, a 2 1/2 year old and a 10 month old. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well we have been celebrating his birthday since last Friday!!!! The surprises actually started (for me Thursday night) but for Trace Friday morning when he woke up. Aunt Tasha was at our house when he woke up!!!! For those of you who don't know Aunt Tasha and Uncle Shawn live approximately 9 hours away. She flew in Thursday night just to go to the zoo with us for Trace's birthday. Friday night we went to a place called Buffalo Wild Wings. It was really good!! They sang to him! I wish I had a camera ready because there was a super smile on his face!!!

Saturday we woke up bright and early and rode the train to the zoo. The kids were just as excited about the train ride to and from as they were about the zoo. We had a whole crew with us. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Nyki, Aunt Tasha, Momma, Daddy, AC, Rylee, Andrew, Jakob, Kailey and of course the birthday boy! I gotta say thats a lot of people to keep all together! It was lots of fun!

We then went back home and had a birthday party. Uncle Jeremy joined us at the house for pizza and cupcakes. Then we opened presents. He loved everything he got. After every present there was a ooohhh look at this or a WOW! This is awesome!!!!!! He even had a present to open from his Nana and PopPop who live in FL. (Nana had bought it for him when she came for a visit and we just put it away to be opened at his party!)

Now we jump ahead to today! He woke up this morning to Grandma singing Happy Birthday! She gave him a camo blanket (he is currently completely into camo stuff! He got a camo jacket, como sleep pants, and even his cake was camo as you saw above.) Then he went down stairs to find me cooking his some cinnamon rolls. Then for lunch he got pigs in the blanket. (He had really wanted these for his birthday party but I couldn't find all the materials so he got pizza instead). He has cleaned today! NOT because I asked him to but because he came to me and told me he wanted the house sparkly clean for when Grandma got home. Tonight we are taking him to The Black Eye Pea! He really loves this restaraunt and it doesn't hurt that kids eat free on Tuesdays.
