Sorry its been a while....

Things are going better! I have been doing my quiet times and that has helped tremendously. It also helped just being honest because I no longer am giving Satan the power, since he is the Father of lies!

So lets see to give you an update on whats going on in our little world...

RC participated in the Coast to Coast for Christ again. For those who don't know or don't remember what that is its a Bike ride sponsored by a church in Tampa. They ride across the state of Florida. They ride from the East coast to the West. This is his 4th year to participate. I am really glad he was able to go back and participate. I really hope I get to do it with him next year. His job is going pretty good. He seems to really be enjoying it. He is also playing guitar again. We have chosen a small church that is starting over. They have changed names and just gotten a new pastor. When we first started they had a guy playing guitar, a guy on keyboards and a girl singing. This Sunday they will have a full band, two guitarists, a keyboardist, a bass player and a drummer. God is SO cool!!! I love seeing RC up on stage again!

AC is loving first grade! He seems to really excel in math! He is gets better with his reading everyday! He has made really great friends. He even had a play day over at one of his friends house on their day off. This is a big thing for him because he was really scared about making new friends. He has the typical first grade attitude. He tries push the limits and test the boundaries but I think that comes with growing up! He is home sick today! Poor little guy is running a fever and has a sore throat. I wish he felt better!!!

Trace is SO eager to learn! He loves to write! He writes everyday! We are still doing preschool at home. He does really well. He also loves to play on the computer with a learning to read program. I really hope that he keeps this eagerness to learn all through school. We do have our struggles. He definitely tests us daily with his behavior. I really believe it is just because he is bored. I really wish we had been able to find him a preschool out of the home but God is in control.

Andrew is well Andrew. We are still fighting him on his little addiction. We will get him to give us his binky when he first gets up and not even five minutes later we will find him with another one. We take that one away and sure enough he shows up with another. When he can't find any of his he shows up with Kailey Bears. I blame me for not being strict enough. But sometimes its really hard not to just give in and let him PLUG IT because I get tired of listening to him whine!!! He is too cute though. He can just grin at you and no matter how tired, sick, mad or whatever your heart melts and you can't help but smile. We are also trying to potty train. Even though it feels like we take a tiny step forward and then two giant steps back! Sometimes I really want to scream!!!

Kailey Bear is growing up way too fast. What am I going to do with her??? She will be one next Tuesday! I know I know I can't believe it either!!! She cruises along everywhere. She will walk when holding your hand but if you try and get her to take more steps she give you this attitude that says I WILL DO IT WHEN I WANT TO DO IT!!!. She still doesn't sleep through the night. Last night she wanted to stay up half the night and play! She loves to play on the stairs. We will catch her on the stairs and she will just grin at us and try and go up it even faster. She is a stinker! She already gives us this little miss thang attitude. She knows she is cute and that we all think she is!! OH I am so going to have my hands full with this one.

Now for me...
As I said before I am doing better. I have been spending more time in prayer and in his word. I have also chosen to lose some weight. I started last week and I lost five pounds last week. I am eating healthier, drinking more water and exercising more. I will weigh in again tomorrow to see how I did this week. Its really nice because RC is helping hold me accountable. He isn't a dictator about it. He really just encourages me and when I ask for help then he gives it. I don't know that I tell him enough how much I appreciate it!!! I am a lucky woman! Anyhow that's enough for now I will try and update again soon!!!
